The room was impressive and spotless. The bed was comfy, I also had a hair dryer, a kettle, a tea and a kettle. The location was comfortable - an easy walk to everywhere I wanted to go. The hotel itself was in a peaceful area, next to the centre of town, and a quiet area.

This place offers peaceful and attractive accommodation in a beautiful location close to town and Dambulla, just 25 minutes away.

The breakfast here was generous with delicious fruits.

This place has a perfect location near a decent museum, with units offering garden views and plenty of nice dining choices.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel! The location was perfect - we were able to easily walk to the main attractions and there were plenty of great restaurants nearby. The hotel facilities were fantastic, including a beautiful garden and comfortable rooms. We particularly enjoyed the delicious breakfast and the helpful staff, who provided us with excellent local tips. this was a wonderful experience and we highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting this city.

Comfortable bed and spacious bathroom in the double room made our stay enjoyable - nearly didn't wanna leave the room all day! Being close to restaurants and bars just added to the great location. Plus, it was only a quick 10-minute drive to the airport. 🌟

Excellent Base for Touring, Friendly Staff and Fast Internet. This hotel offers an excellent base for exploring the surrounding area. the room we stayed in was comfortable and clean. the staff were very friendly and we appreciated their efforts to ensure we enjoyed our stay. the fast internet connection was a nice bonus.

Lack of Facilities and Unsatisfactory Amenities. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with the lack of facilities at this property.

The hotel's location is fantastic, in a quiet area only a short walk from a popular attraction. the staff is friendly, helpful, and always available for questions. the rooms are spacious, with new and clean bathrooms, including amenities such as hairdryer, water, and coffee. the breakfast served is good, with various options for bread, fruit, eggs, and more. Plus, the wifi works very well, allowing you to stay connected and updated on your trip. the hotel also offers bicycles for free use to explore the nearby places or cafes.

The hotel faces some noise issues, due to the presence of nearby bars and restaurants that can affect the rooms' quietness.

The breakfast was tasty and plentiful. The location was close to the main attraction and we were able to walk there easily. The staff were friendly and helpful when we had questions.

Our Christmas stay was not very enjoyable. The room had a strong musty smell and the bedding seemed damp.

The host at Sunshine Resort & Spa was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. He organized a safari tour, arranged a Tuk Tuk to take us to Pidurangala, and even walked us to the bike rental shop. The breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The location was peaceful and the bed was very comfortable. I highly recommend Sunshine Resort & Spa.

We had a lovely romantic escape at a resort in beautiful Sigiriya. The staff were friendly and helpful, arranging transportation and answering all our questions. The room was clean and comfortable, with warm water and good Wi-Fi. We enjoyed a delicious and hearty breakfast every morning, with a choice of both Western and Sri Lankan dishes. The location was perfect, close to the famous Lion Rock and a variety of restaurants.

While the overall experience was enjoyable, there were a few minor downsides. Some of the staff members had limited English skills, but they made an effort and always greeted us with a smile.

I recently stayed at Sunshine Resort & Spa for 3 nights during my visit to Sigiriya. The location of the hotel was perfect, within walking distance to Lion's Rock and surrounded by great restaurants. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with a big bed and lovely garden views. The staff were incredibly polite and accommodating, especially Mr. Anjith, our driver, who not only took us to various places but also learned to take pictures to our liking. The hotel also helped us arrange a safari tour and a trip to the old city. a wonderful experience.

I do recommend this hotel.

They provided excellent customer service and were always friendly and smiling. the breakfast served in the open-air reception area was delicious and fulfilling. the location was perfect, with a short walk to the village for food and around 20 minutes to the main attraction. the room had everything we needed, including comfy beds, a safe, and a fridge. Great value for money.

The amenities were lacking, especially considering it was advertised as a spa and resort. There was no spa, no resort facilities, and no bicycles.
